Stars at Dusk - “exploring trauma, relationships and happiness”

Today I’m sharing a recent review of ‘Stars at Dusk’ that has truly humbled me.

There are book reviews that inform, but there are others that uplift - and this one from an Amazon Vine reviewer was not just informative, in depth and considered but showed a great depth of compassion. As well an ability to understand what I was trying to convey, which is that we all may have trauma but healing is found when we face our problems within the safety of a loving relationship, be it romantic or otherwise.

I hope you enjoy the uplifting words as much I did:

They say don’t judge a book by its cover, but this book’s cover will certainly be the first thing that will attract you. Excellent cover design!

Stars at Dusk: A Sassy Sublime Romance by Sky Gold is the second installment of the Sable Riders Book series. In book two, we go on an amazing adventure with Harlow Meridien, who is running from her past life. She is smart and strong, and her works attracted one of the greatest minds around, Kage Sable of the Sable Group.

Kage is convinced that the smart and sassy Harlow Meridien should be his and thus, he works towards making her his own. However, the toast wasn’t going to be an easy ride. Harlow has already had her fair share of bad relationships and getting her to fall for another man can be tougher than it looks.

On the other hand, Kage was never the type to chicken out so easily. So, he finds his way, one day at a time into our lady’s heart. Now both must fight to fan this speck of love they just ignited till it becomes a blazing fire.

Beyond the well-developed world and beautiful depictions in this book, I love the author’s way of exploring ideas surrounding trauma, relationships, and happiness. Stars at Dusk is well-written and deserves commendations.
